Wash the floor with light

Contemplating the sturdiness of the structure of One World Trade Center, Manhattan and watching people move through the space heading to and from work, The Oculus serves as a reminder of the attacks of 9/11. It is positioned such that on September 11 every year from 8.46am to 10.28am  when the first plane struck and the second tower collapsed the skylight is aligned such that the Oculus floor is washed with a beam of light.
